My friends, family and followers know well that I am a committed to “paying it forward” at every opportunity. There is so much in my life, both personally and professionally, for which I am grateful. I have dreamed big dreams and I have seen so many of them come true beyond my wildest expectations. Out of gratitude and joy, I want to pass blessings onto others. I believe that if each of us can do so, even in a very small way, it will make the world a better place for all of us.

Recently, I received this message from Amy via Facebook:

I am currently reading this book and Mary was featured for helping a couple during a freezing rain storm get into her restaurant safely. Thank you for paying it forward to help others. Much love and appreciation from Maine.

Indeed, I was blessed to be in a place to help these people in their time of need. I am thankful that I was!

The book Amy mentioned is Chicken Soup for the Soul, Random Acts of Kindness. The book is described here, from Amazon:

Small gestures can make a big difference in someone’s day, even someone’s life. This collection of 101 uplifting, true stories will help you see the beauty in small, meaningful gestures and how such acts can make a difference in someone else’s life. From random acts of kindness to doing what’s right, this book shows how positive attitudes and good deeds can change the world.

This book shines a bright light on the widespread goodwill in our world as everyday heroes demonstrate acts of kindness, compassion and commitment to others. The stories in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Random Acts of Kindness will uplift you, inspire you, and brighten your day.

Take some time to read the book for more inspirational stories. May they motivate each of us to do more each day to pay it forward. May we also be inspired to remember that Dreams Really Do Come True.

All My Love,
