Elf on the Shelf has become an amusing holiday tradition, enjoyed throughout the season by kids and their families. This particular elf is a Scout Elf, his mission is to hang out in a family’s home and then report back to Santa each night about the family’s adventures, basically he helps Santa manage the naughty and nice lists.
By morning the elf has returned, but he doesn’t return to the same spot each day, instead the children of the house wake up each morning with their own mission to find where their Elf on a Shelf has decided to land. Could be on a shelf or some other area of the home.
This weekend, December 8 & 9, the Scout Elves are out in full force in Kimmswick. From 10am – 5pm each day, children are invited to come to town and see how many elves they can find. Tickets are $10 and each ticket includes a Kimmswick story book, elf guide and gift bag. Bring along a new unwrapped toy and receive a $5 gift card to use at any of the participating Kimmswick merchants. The toys will be gifted to families in need.
Fuel up the family for this fun filled elf adventure at The Blue Owl; feast upon the best comfort food to be found in the Midwest and don’t forget to save room for an unforgettable dessert. Our own Elf on the Shelf has been reporting good things back to Santa. Sounds like The Blue Owl is definitely on the nice list!
May you enjoy these holidays as much as the kids do, as all good kids know, “Dreams really do come true.”
All My Love,
