Oscar Wilde once pondered, “Who, being loved, is poor?”

I couldn’t agree more. I find such richness in life, knowing that I am loved and loving in return. As February approaches, love is on the minds of couples young and old. I couldn’t be more grateful to have the great love of my life by my side. My darling Jerry and I have been best friends for many years, and are so blessed to have a wonderful marriage and an amazing, loving family!

Things are still blissfully busy at The Blue Owl! While my Blue Owl family kept things in Kimmswick, Festus, and House Springs running smoothly this weekend, I spent the weekend in the charming town of Farmington, Missouri. I enjoy visiting the Home and Outdoor Expo here each year, and this year was as lovely as ever. We served some delicious goodies, whipped up some cooking demonstrations, and met some great people.

Of course, we also continue to delight brides and grooms by preparing breathtaking creations for their dessert buffets and wedding cakes. We are looking forward to seeing several couples “tie the knot” in the next month. As always, we wish all of our loving newlyweds a lifetime of happiness!

We are also busy preparing for Valentines Day at The Blue Owl! Gentlemen (and ladies, too), if you want to impress your special date with the best, we absolutely must recommend Our Famous Double Dipped Chocolate Covered Strawberries! Your love will adore our perfect, fresh strawberries double dipped in white and milk chocolate, then drizzled with white and dark chocolate. We also offer the most romantic venue for your Valentines Day Candlelight Dinner! The Blue Owl will be dressed up and ready to make your evening complete on Friday (2/13) and Saturday (2/14), 4pm-8pm.  Call us at 636.464.3128 to make reservations or to order your strawberries!

We hope to see you soon! In the meantime, remember to love with all your heart and keep dreaming, because Dreams Really Do Come True!

All My Love,

~Mary
