~ Baked with Love ~

Written by Mary On May - 24 - 2012 2 Comments

The first cookbook we published was Baked with Love, which was in celebration of our 5th Anniversary. The name of the cookbook describes what we do each and every day at The Blue Owl. I wanted to share with you one of my favorite recipes from this first cookbook. This recipe is not made from food, but from words that come straight from the heart:

Mary’s Favorite Recipe
Sift hard work and recreation
With knowledge and experience.
Blend in enough faith, courage and prayers
To hold ingredients together,
Sprinkle with laughter and smiles.
Tears and dreams may be added
Whenever necessary.
Dissolve malice and hatred
In warm cup of love,
Understanding and forgiveness
And add to first mixture.
Pour into 24 hours of everyday
And serve with enthusiasm.

I love this recipe! Keep a copy of this recipe in a place where you can read it each and every day; it will serve as a reminder to fill your life with joy and experience for yourself that Dreams Really Do Come True.

All My Love ~ Mary
