Naughty or Nice?

Written by Mary On December - 13 - 2016 0 Comment

We had such a wonderful time at Dinner with Santa on December 9 here at The Blue Owl Restaurant & Bakery! Many sweet little children enjoyed dinner, treats, activities, and time with their favorite jolly elf. I was blessed to spend a little time talking with St. Nick and Mrs. Claus, myself. So many of my dreams have already come true that I just couldn’t think of anything to ask else to ask of them. I simply told him I wish health, happiness, and much sweetness for all those I hold dear.

Santa gave me a little peek at his lists. I promised not to share the naughty list, but Santa always loves to point out the nice; and so do I. Here are a few people that made his “Nice List.”

The Blue Owl Staff. We have the best team at the Blue Owl Restaurant and Bakery and The Blue Owl Sweet Shoppe. They’re hardworking folks with genuine smiles – and hearts as warm and sweet as our apple pie. I’m so grateful for each of one of them, and I just know Santa is too.

My family. My darling husband Jerry and all of our family are so good to me. They are one key to the amazing success of our restaurant and bakery.

Kimmswick. I simply cannot say enough about this charming town. Year-round activities and amazing businesses make Kimmswick a fabulous place to spend time anytime of year. When difficulties strike, such as the flooding in December of last year, the good people came together to help. It is such a joy to be in a loving, supportive community.

Foody Direct. This year, we entered into a new relationship with Foody Direct to help improve our online services to you. They are very nice and we look forward to many more years of working together.

House Springs. We’ve been in this wonderful community for several years now, and the people are so special to us. Most of our baking takes place here, and we look forward to exciting growth into the New Year.

The Rivertown Sound Quartet. These charming gentlemen are a true joy, especially during the holidays. Santa enjoys hearing them sing Christmas carols almost as much as I do!

YOU! If you’re a friend of mine, then you’re a friend of Santa’s. He knows that we would not be where we are without you, and so do I. I put in a good word for you, and I think you’ll enjoy what you find under your tree. If you would like to talk to Santa yourself, call us at 636-464-3128 to make your reservations for Breakfast with Santa on December 17. I hope that the holidays serve as a delightful reminder that Dreams Really Do Come True!

All My Love,

~Mary
