Isn’t Missouri lovely in the spring? Of course, we usually see much rain at this time of year, but I’m looking forward to seeing the lovely spring trees and flowers blooming! It is a wonderful time to visit our quaint historic town of Kimmswick!
While you’re visiting, stop by and see our part of the Cakeway to the West. I’m not talking about our bakery, which is filled with many delicious cakes and other treats. I’m talking about the celebration of St. Louis’ 250th Birthday! We are proud to be a host of one of the many cakes throughout the area. Speaking of birthdays, my darling daughter Kim recently celebrated her birthday. Many thanks to those of you who stopped by our Facebook page to wish her a happy day. Kim has lived the Blue Owl dream since it began, working here since 1997, and now staying extremely busy as our General Manager. Kim is one of my life’s greatest blessings and I am so very proud to be her mother each and every day! Happy Birthday, Kim!
