Statement of Mission and Values

Welcome to The Blue Owl Restaurant & Bakery, Inc. The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion-to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. Strangers will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards. And you will be called priests of the Lord, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations and in their riches you will boast. Isaiah 61:1-6

OUR VALUES

We love and honor God in all we do and say by showing his love to the guests we encounter and by utilizing the gift of hospitality to those that come our way. Our passion to help people in recovery has allowed us to bring the restoring ministry of Christ into our business. We provide a place for those needing to recover and rebuild lives with integrity and excellence in a positive work environment while seeking to create the best guest experience for our customers to remember for a lifetime.

Excellence: To honor, glorify and worship God in all we do. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as if working for the Lord. Col 3:23

Hospitality: To provide our guests with unique customer experiences that will create memories for our guests to share for generation to generation. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as a good steward of God’s grace. 1 Peter 4:9-10

To Love God and Love People: To create outstanding food and dessert served with love in a warm inviting atmosphere where customers encounter the powerful love of Jesus for all people. Let everything that you do be done in love. -1 Corinthians 16:14
